The procurement process of the provincial government violated the conditions of the Manual of Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Services.

“The procurement process did not follow BAC [bids and awards committee] procedures.

The personalities involved are politically powerful. This is interesting. Its a test case of the resolve of the Aquino administration to bring to the bar of justice those who are found to have erred in their procurement process. This case is the personification of Noynoy's statement during the campaign."Kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap". Abangan ang susunod na kabanata.

Hmmm. 53 units at P278,000.00. That could buy two (2) high end Macbook®Pro. I bet not even Intel's i7 multi-core computer units cost that much. The next funny question is: How much is the ABC? P300,000.00 each?

The 53 personal computers, priced at P278,000 each, have been bought, even if all the sofwares installed are genuine, the price is mind boggling. bounce

If those computers will be used by DOST, NAST, NEC, and etc. for any scientific or engineering research it may be possible due to third party proprietary analytical softwares. But for day care centers... nah. Baka kasama board and lodging? Smile
