Procurement of A(H1N1) vaccines

The government is now preparing for the procurement of A(H1N1) vaccines. Three pharmaceutical companies will be bid bidding: GlaxoSmithKline Philippines, Inc., Sanofi-Aventis Philippines, Inc. and Novartis Healthcare Philippines, Inc.

Earlier, however, in line with the request of the Office of the Muslim Affairs, the government has already made a special procurement of the vaccines. The vaccines will be for the Muslims going to the the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
