Transitory Provisions for Revised IRR

Post by engrjhez® on Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:26 am

  • Section 77. Transitory Clause
    77.1. x x x
77.2. In cases where the advertisements or invitations for bids were issued before the
    effectivity of this IRR
, Procuring Entities may continue adopting the procurement
procedures, rules, and regulations provided in the IRR Part A or other applicable
laws, as the case may be.

Can anyone tell us if the IRR was already published in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general nationwide circulation? If yes, when? (so we can set the effectivity date)

Hello gentlemen!

I've just been recently made aware that there is another revision to the IRR of R.A. 9184. This is the reason why I visited the GPPB website. Now I am confused. How many revisions have been already made to the original IRR? As i understand it, there is an IRR, a IRR A, and a revised one. Am I correct? So which one is effective starting Sept 2, 2009

Thanks in advance for the clarrification.

We are currently using an amended IRR-A (domestic) and there was never an IRR-B (foreign) - not until its convergence to one IRR forming the now Revised IRR effective Sept.02,2009. All other amendments are thereby repealed by the Revised IRR. You may refer to the link on the "running message" above. Very Happy
